This mom and dad have their hands full! Two under three and a new, fluffy puppy. Such fun ages and stages for this Whispering Pines family photographer to capture.
When I am planning a session with a client, we discuss locations and what type of background they envision in their images. I am so fortunate to have amazing locations throughout the Sandhills. This mom wanted a field and possibly a farm. I knew the perfect spot! We did most of the session in the big field. Late day (golden hour) light is so amazing at that field and the fact that it hadn’t been mowed in awhile made it extra amazing! Towards the end of the session, big brother discovered the chickens and we moved over closer to the farm.
With toddlers and babies the key to a family session is to move fast and keep the parents interacting with the kids. I tend to get a fair amount of action shots in these sessions. Let’s face it, toddlers are constantly on the move! I love this type of portrait. It shows everyones’ personalities and makes anyone who looks at them smile. You can almost hear the laughter! This is what I do. I capture moments. Moments you will cherish and remember for years to come.
