I’m Pregnant! What’s Next?
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! This is an exciting time in your life and I know you are probably overwhelmed and getting lots of “input” solicited and unsolicited – am I right?
Every family member and friend is telling you different things – not to mention your doctor. It probably feels like you have whiplash!
I’m here to make one thing a bit easier – booking a Pinehurst newborn photography session!
Right now you might not think you need a newborn photographer. It might seem like something “extra” and something you don’t need to think about now – but let me share the info, so that when you are ready, you have it!
When to Book with Your Pinehurst Newborn Photography Session
I have three kinds of newborn clients –
-
The moms-to-be that contact me the minute they find out they are expecting! Yes, I’ve heard from some moms BEFORE they even tell their significant others. No joke! These are typically repeat clients who have worked with me before.
-
The moms-to-be that reach out about half way through their pregnancy. They’ve probably had friends who have had newborn pictures done or they have seen my work somewhere.
-
The moms who have had their baby and realize how fast they are changing and reach out to freeze time!
I LOVE all three of these clients! You can reach out to me at any stage of your pregnancy/motherhood journey. And I will provide you with all the details and all the information you need!
Newborn Session Myths
Let me take this opportunity to dispel a few newborn session myths for you, especially if you are mom #3.
Although I prefer that you book BEFORE you baby arrives, it’s no big deal if your baby is already here! Contact me! I can’t guarantee that I’ll be available, but don’t let that stop you from reaching out!
You may have heard that your newborn need to be 7-10 days for a newborn session. Let me make this very clear – they can be ANY age! The definition of a newborn is any baby under 8 weeks – and I go by that definition.
My newborn sessions are not posed and therefore the baby does not need to be asleep for their session. In fact, I love awake newborn pictures! Awake – asleep – I promise to get beautiful images of your new addition.
How It Works
Do you feel ready – for more info or to book a session? This is what happened next!
Contact me! Fill out a contact form and I’ll send you all the details about my newborn sessions.
They’ll be a link in the email for you to schedule a time for a phone consult! This way I can answer all your questions and we can get to know each other a little better.
Once you book your session, I will send you a confirmation with a link to my Newborn Session Guide and a What to Wear Guide, an agreement and an invoice. Your confirmation will either be very general (just your baby’s due date) if your little one isn’t here yet or it will contain the date and time for session plus prep information for the session day.
