Talking to my clients before they book their sessions is so important!
Why? Because I want to get to know you, answer your questions and make sure we are a good fit! I offer a pre-session consult to all my clients.
I know what you’re thinking…you don’t talk on the phone. Can’t we just text or email. And in some circumstances we absolutely can! But, I really want to talk to you!
During our phone call I can walk you through a session, answer all your questions and we can go ahead and get it on my calendar! That’s right we can get the exact date on my calendar (or at least your due date if you are expecting).
Here’s how my phone consults usually go…
I walk you through your session from beginning to end. What you can expect, what’s included with your session, my turnaround time…you get the idea! And right now I am also letting you know all the precautions I am taking during Covid-19.
We’ll talk about the lighting in your home or discuss outdoor locations. Maybe we’ll discuss wardrobe choices. Your children’s nap schedules might come up because we want those kids happy for their session!
I might ask you how you heard about me or learned about my business – we might talk about the sweet friend who sent you my way!
Then, I always ask if there are any questions that haven’t been answered – and there are usually a few. Some are specific to you and your family and some are things we just hadn’t covered yet!
I want you to be confident that you have chosen the right person to capture your family. And I promise you I am!
