Buckets, Beds, and Squish – Oh My! | Pinehurst Baby Portraits

When this family first contacted me a few months back about doing Pinehurst Baby Portraits for them throughout the first year, Mom had a lot of questions. So, after she looked over the information I sent her, we spoke on the phone.  Doing a phone consult is a normal step in my booking process.  I WANT to talk to you!  I want to be able to answer every question that pops in your head. I want you to fully understand the process.

Some of here questions were…

Q: Can I bring my own props?

A: Of course!  You don’t have to, but your are more than welcome to bring props or items that are important to your family.

Q: How do you handle toddler siblings at the newborn session?

A: I start with the sibling portraits with a Deluxe Newborn Session.  We play some games and occasionally we use fruit snacks or goldfish to (I don’t like the word “bribe”) entice the toddler to do what we want them to do. If all else fails, I can always get a shot of the toddler and a shot of the newborn and put them together. (See the bucket portrait below!)

Q: Who can come to the Ordering Appointment?

A: I encourage EVERYONE who is going to be part of the ordering decision to come!  Your children are ALWAYS welcome, too! Do you think I’m going to pass up a baby snuggle or a chance to play trains with your toddler? NEVER! Please feel free to bring them.

Everyone has different questions.  Everyone has different concerns. A phone consult is SO important to address them all!

Interested in booking a newborn session? I would love to chat with you and answer all your questions!
