I know you think you see all white and bright houses in my images. And I know you’re thinking, “my house isn’t all white!” Well, most of clients don’t have all white houses either.
In fact, most of clients have a house exactly like yours. Lived in and beautifully yours. And, maybe, that’s what’s been holding you back from booking an in-home session. I get it. But listen up!
Do you like color and have a super fun bedspread to prove it? Do you have tons of throw pillows in all the colors piled high on your bed? Awesome! Love it! Just not for in-home sessions.
Color is great when you’re decorating, but can be super distracting in photos. You see, they become the center of attention and the goal is to have YOUR family standout!

But I have a super easy hack and it’s probably not anything you even have to go out and buy!

Drumroll please…
a white bed sheet
Yes, that’s it! That’s my big secret!
Throw a white sheet on your bed and a few pillows with white pillow cases.
Take all the colorful things off – ok, maybe not all of them! Keep them close by just in-case we want a few pops of color.
Now you have that bright, clean backdrop for some beautiful images. And, no, we won’t spend the whole session on your bed, but they are usually some of my favorite shots!
It’s easy to get close and snuggle on a bed. Which makes for beautiful pictures!
