With Pinehurst baby photography, I am sometimes lucky to catch one sleepy smile during a newborn session…maybe two. Baby D gave me three! And one was when he was with his sisters. Simply melts my heart (and mom and dad’s).
This little guy is so lucky to have two doting big sisters. They were adorable with him and so excited to be photographed with him. I actually grabbed one portrait of just the girls, too. They looked so timeless and precious in their off white dresses and headbands. I couldn’t resist! These weren’t the dresses mom had ordered for the session. Unfortunately, only one arrived on time. So, mom went to Belk and hit the jackpot! Not only did she find the perfect dresses in the right sizes, but they were on sale. Sometimes things happen for a reason and the dress delivery mix-up certainly was one of those moments.
Baby D didn’t need an outfit, just some simple wraps provided by me and some sweet curled up naked shots. We had a blanket change mid session due to a little accident. Poop happens! And it’s fine. Everything gets washed after every newborn session whether there is a mess or not. Mom and dad had requested the flag scarf. Many of my clients are military and it is the perfect way to incorporate their patriotism without being over the top! The scarf is soft and has slightly muted colors. It always adds a lot to a set-up.
What makes Pinehurst baby photography so much fun? The babies of course!!! And working with amazing families and customizing each session for them. I say it often, but it seriously is the best job ever!
