Two Boys & A Girl
Eeek!!! I think I was as excited as this mama when she told me she was having a girl! As a DC Newborn photographer, I’d photographed all their kids throughout their first year and after two boys, a girl was a welcome surprise!
As a precaution during the pandemic I haven’t been providing any wraps or headbands for my DC Lifestyle Newborn Session, but I knew this mom was ready to shop for some girly-girl items and it wouldn’t be an issue!
She had her whole dining room table covered with wraps and headbands and a few outfits when I arrived. So, we were good!
Bring on the Bows and Flowers
And lace and pink and everything that screams GIRL! And can we talk about her nursery. SWOON! I mean I wish my room looked like this. So many gorgeous details – the animal prints, the touches of pink and the floral wallpaper on one accent wall. And that light fixture…stunning! {see below}
Her big brother were the absolute sweetest with her. So gentle and loving. They loved unwrapping her swaddle to find her teeny-tiny toes. But my favorite picture is of them climbing up in the crib to see her – such a boy thing and such a real moment.
Mother – Daughter Connection
I could have photographed them all day. Oh the way this mom looked at her new daughter – the absolute sweetest melt your heart moments. Totally enamored and so in love!
The best part? As a DC Newborn Photographer, I get to capture this bond throughout Miss L’s first year. And I can’t wait to capture milestones of her this year in this space!
