Pinehurst Photographer | ONE!

Those eyes!  I didn’t see them once in her newborn session, but she sure showed those baby blues off at her one year session. The best part of being a Pinehurst photographer is watching these little ones grow into walking, talking little people.

Miss C is so much fun!  Flashing sweet smiles and showing off those big blue eyes. And let’s just say she enjoyed her cake! That’s not always the case. Sometimes, we have to “fake” a cake smash. Mom did have to help her dig in a bit, but she loved it!

Studio sessions are a perfect way to celebrate one! The focus can be on the one year old.  No distracting background.  Just the baby (almost toddler!) and any props we choose to use. We decided on no banner and mom brought this simple, glass cake stand. And the little stuffed animal in her portrait shot?  Well, that’s Bunny Bear and it’s a family heirloom of sorts. It was her dad’s and made an appearance at her newborn session. Here it was again at her one year session.  I would say she loves it as much as her dad did!

I love working with my clients to plan out the perfect one year old session.  There are so many options and so much we can do to make the session extra special! If the session is part of a Watch Me Grow package, we can incorporate a prop or item that we used in their newborn and sitting-up session. It’s a great way to show how much they have grown!

How do you want to celebrate ONE?
