DC Expectant Parents

Not only was the light glowing during this Maternity Session, but so was this beautiful expectant mom.  She radiated happiness and joy and love. That’s what I strive to capture.  I don’t just want my clients to just look at stunning pictures of themselves, I want them to remember the way they felt. So many emotions when you about to go from a couple to a family of three or four.

Whether you choose a Maternity Session with your spouse and older children or one of just you in the studio, I will capture those feelings and that glow and most importantly that sweet bump. We do these sessions between 32-35 weeks before you get too uncomfortable. I have a large collection of maternity dresses at my Pinehurst studio that you can use during your session. Some clients choose to have their hair and make-up done. There are several options to have this done and I am happy to share suggestions with you.

This sweet momma-to-be is a photographer and plans on doing her own newborn pictures, but she knew she couldn’t do her own maternity portraits. We did a late afternoon/early evening session and the location and sun did not disappoint. This couple was truly a joy to work with and capture.  I feel honored that a fellow photographer chose me to capture this moment in her life.
