My Pinehurst Studio was busy with Christmas Newborns! Lots of snow in January and February produced some cuties and it was my pleasure to capture them. Some of my clients combined their birth announcements with holiday cards, so I tried to incorporate a few pops of red.
I have a Christmas baby! My oldest was born just four days before Christmas. Such a festive time for a birthday! We celebrate his birthday most years in NYC while we take in all the city has to offer. Such a treat. Some of out favorite things to do are visit the Rockefeller Plaza Christmas Tree, stroll down 5th Avenue and look at all the Christmas lights and holiday displays, grab some frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity3, explore the candy at Dylan’s and sometimes take in a show.
This year was a bit different. He turned 21 (and yes I am far too young to have a 21 year old;)! We did some extra special things. A college basketball game at Madison Square Garden followed by Serendipity3. On his actual birthday, we went to a German beer hall (we lived in Germany for three years when he was younger) and had an incredible dinner at Nobu Downtown. My sister in-law bought a delicious cheesecake from Eileen’s and we enjoyed it in the lounge at our hotel in midtown. It was a very special celebration for an incredible young man.
So, don’t let anyone tell you that Christmas babies get shorted! After all, it’s the most wonderful time of the year!
