Newborn Experience – Sanford Newborn Photographer

My job as a Sanford Newborn Photographer is to provide my clients with an amazing experience from inquiry to product delivery. I pride myself in doing just that!

Mom contacted me several months ago to inquire about a newborn session. With each inquiry, I send a detailed email with a link to my Newborn Magazine. My Newborn Magazine explains the process, my experience, as well as, my session, package and product pricing. This gives my potential clients the time to look at things in detail before speaking to me. Then, we set-up a time to talk so I can answer any questions and help with the booking process.

I answer a range of questions on these initial calls.  Everything from “what do we need to bring?” to “how do you handle toddler siblings?” to “can we get a shot with three generations?”.  I welcome questions. I want my clients to understand the process, the session, and what I do. You can read some commonly asked questions and answers on my FAQs page. I require a deposit to book your session. This Sanford newborn photographer then puts your due date on the calendar. I take a limited number of newborn sessions each month, so it is important to book before the baby arrives. I can usually get in a Mini Newborn Session at the last minute, but early booking ensures your session.

Baby C’s sweet family arrived at the Pinehurst studio on a Tuesday morning with mom, dad, big brother and grandma. We started with sibling images and grandma was a HUGE help in getting some priceless smiles from big brother. I always start with these shots so the older sibling(s) can be taken home or to a park. After family images, big brother left with grandma and the newborn goodness started! I start the baby wrapped and then we unwrap down to their birthday suit for those newborn rolls. Mom and dad brought the butter colored fur piece to use in his session.  They had used it in big brother’s newborn session when they lived in another state. I love incorporating items from older sibling’s sessions or something that has meaning to the family. I usually end the session with prop images and parent shots.

Newborn sessions can be lengthly, but it gives this Sanford newborn photographer a chance to get to the family and gives the newborn a chance to get into that fabulous deep sleep every newborn photographer dreams about!

Thank you, D Family. I look forward to working with you again in the future!
