Miss E Turns ONE | Pinehurst Photographer

I love a girl who knows what she wants! And Miss E is certainly that girl. She loves to explore and eat grass and flowers. She likes to be on the move (which was the case during her sitting-up session, too!). So, what’s a Pinehurst photographer and her mama to do? MOVE! We just stayed on the go, too. Even on a bench she couldn’t stay still. She sat for about a minute and then she stood on it. A true adventurous soul!

I was thrilled mom wanted some portraits of the two of them. I always encourage parents to join in the session. In a lot of ways, it makes it easier to contain the toddler. And every toddler loves interacting with their parents. Being tickled, getting kisses, being lifted into the air…that’s when I get the BEST smiles. However, the best smile was when mom yelled “touchdown” and Miss E threw her arms in the air and grinned from ear to ear. Clearly she is a football fan at an early age!

Mom and I had a lot of back and forth about what type of one year session she wanted for E. I sent her a number of links to studio and outdoor Milestone Sessions.  Some of the sessions were cake smashes, some had balloons or banners, and some were all about the baby. With trees and flowers in bloom and knowing E’s love of the outdoors, she chose to do an outdoor session and focus on the her. This Pinehurst Photographer loves to cater the session to the client and create the perfect Milestone Session.

What Milestone do you want me to capture? How can I help you freeze time?
