Family Photography Studio – Pinehurst

It’s winter.  It’s cold and at times really rainy. Lucky for my clients, I have a studio that is PERFECT for a family photography studio session!

Family Portraits First

This session was actually the last session in in a Watch Me Grow package – three sessions in the first year. So, it was a one year session and this family chose a cake smash for their little guy, just like they did for their daughter two years before. I always encourage family and sibling portraits at a one year session. Most of my clients take me up on it, too! We had a dilemma with this session…the awful weather.  Rainy and cold. Outdoors was NOT an option. Lucky for my clients, I have several possible studio set-ups for family pictures.

Mom wanted a more “lifestyle” feel to their family pictures.  Got it! I have a “fake” bed with classic white bedding that makes the ideal spot for family lifestyle portraits.  Mom loved the idea and it worked PERFECTLY! This lifestyle set-up showcases their family bond and captures their love for each other, as well as, all their personalities. Their family hug might be my absolute favorite!

Don’t Forget the Cake!

And what a cake it was!  Mom is amazing and a total DIYer.  She made this gorgeous cake and came up with the simple topper, too.  A grizzly bear with a gold crown holding a white balloon. Truly one of the cutest toppers I have ever seen! I might add that that topper didn’t last long. Mr. A removed the topper and got right into the fun part…eating! There was some mess making, too.

I welcome you and your family to join me at my studio on Midland Road in Pinehurst. Let me capture all the personalties in your family and create portraits that will make you smile.
