Mr. S was one of my first Simply Newborn Sessions. He was amazing and even flashed a smile during his session. With every newborn session, you are given the option to upgrade to a Watch Me Grow Package (adding a sitting-up and one year session). That’s just what his parents did! And because he LOVES the outdoors so much, we decided to his sitting up and one year sessions outdoors.
A One Year Session outdoors looks a bit different than a studio session. It’s a bit more of a lifestyle session and I end up following your child around capturing moments and their little personality. The whole family is welcome to join in the fun!
There are SO many places for outdoor session in Moore County. I work with you to find the location that suits your family best. And as in this case, sometimes it’s your own backyard! However, there are lots of outdoor location beyond your backyard, too. We have “urban” areas, green spaces (even in the winter), fields and my outdoor studio space right on Midland Road in Pinehurst.
Child photography outdoor tends to be more casual. I recommend dressing your little ones in comfortable clothing that they can move in. In warmer months, shoes can be optional. During cooler month dress in layers, but skip the bulky coats. They can rise up and covers little ones’ faces.
The first step to planning your outdoor session for your child or your family, contact me! I would love to answer your questions, walk you through the portrait process and help you schedule your session.
