Brothers

Brothers.  Just 21 months apart and destine to be best friends. Part of being a Raeford newborn photographer is working with families over time and photographing each of their sweet newborns.

Getting big brother to join in the fun was a challenge, but mom, dad and I were game! This was the shot…no head swaps.  Success! I could not get over how much these little guys look alike. Amazing! In fact, they look so much alike, mom asked me to mix things up a bit, so she could tell who was who in their newborn images! I used the same blanket, but different hats, wraps, and props. Big brother on my curved bench (below) is one of my favorite images and I think this bucket shot of baby brother is a new fav! By the way, he LOVED bring in the bucket.  Dad was an awesome spotter, too! You can see big brother’s newborn session here.

Building relationships with my clients is such a wonderful perk of the job.  This was my fourth session with this family.  Big brother J was a Watch Me Grow baby. We even got their sweet puppy, Lord Norman, in on the sitting-up session.  It broke my heart to find out that Norman passed away and I am so glad they have those images. I really get to know families, even extended families! Grandma was in from out-of-town for both newborn sessions. I loved seeing her again!

Baby F is not a Watch Me Grow baby because this new family of four is moving to the West Coast! I will miss them, but look forward to watching these boys grow and become best buds on Instagram.

Welcome to the World, Baby F!
