Early morning light, blooming trees and a sweet smiley baby is just what this Southern Pines family photographer likes!
I often get asked which light I like better early morning or “golden hour” right before sunset. And I’ll be honest that a tough one to answer! I like the time of day when your baby or children are happiest. When my boys were little there is no way we could have done a late day session. My boys were a hot mess that before dinner! I give you the option. Although, it’s hard to get up and photo ready early, it can be so worth it. Because, let’s face it, little ones tend to be happy when they first wake-up. And as you can see, the light is fabulous in the morning!
Letting a family interact and be who they are is what makes a session special. Seeing the way a baby looks at his mom or laughs their deep belly laughs when their dad throws them in the air. This little guy was fascinated by my camera, so I got lots of him looking right at me with those gorgeous eyes and big smile. All with his parents looking on with wonder and love.
