I haven’t done a Q&A post in a LONG time! So, I thought I would post some frequently asked questions I get as a newborn photographer in Washington, DC.
Q: Why do you do a phone consult?
A: I know you are busy. I know it’s easier to do everything via text and email, BUT I want you to be able to ask me questions as they pop in your head. I like to get to know my newborn clients and walk you through the process. No surprises! You will know exactly what to expect during the entire process. Typically a phone consult doesn’t take more the 10 minutes. Consults are complimentary!
Q: What is a “session fee”?
A: When you book a session with NPS Photography, you pay a session fee. The session fee covers my time at the session and hand editing your portraits. A Collection is required with a newborn session. Every collection includes some or all of the digital images and a product credit! More pricing information can be found HERE.
Q: How do I view my images?
A: About two weeks after your session, you will be sent a link to a slideshow with all your edited images! I highly recommend watching the slideshow on a big tv! Here’s the slideshow from this session!
Q: What do most clients spend on their newborn session?
A: Clients spend between 800 to 1800+ dollars.
Q: Do you offer digital images?
A: I do! Every collection includes some or all of the digital images plus a product credit.
Q: What if down the road I decide I want an additional product?
A: I keep you portraits for 6 months. You can come back to me at anytime to order more.
