Newborn Baby Studio Session

Not only did I have the pleasure of photographing this sweet newborn baby girl, but I have photographed her sister since the time she was born, too. Big sister is such a hoot!  I mean she makes me laugh throughout her sessions, so I can only imagine the personality that Baby S will have as she grows.

Big sister was so excited to have her picture taken with her new baby sister.  She gave me HUGE smiles that showed off her delicious dimples!  Baby S wasn’t quite as excited 😉  She was wide awake though and looking right at the camera! I always try and get a few portraits of the newborn baby awake..  They are usually wrapped for these portraits (we certainly don’t want flailing arms and legs!) Baby S was serious, but calm. Eventually, Baby S fell asleep, but it was long after the sibling pictures.

Headbands and tie backs are so much fun when the newborn baby has a great head of hair!  Baby S certainly has some gorgeous locks.  In fact, mom even brought a brush so we could make sure her hair was perfectly quaffed. The cream, gold and pink touches added a little color without being overpowering in the portraits.

Welcome to the world, Baby S!  I can’t wait to watch you and your sister grow.
