We had to reschedule this session a few times, but we finally got it in and had a beautiful day, too. I love working with this family and was thrilled when they contacted me for another session. This Aberdeen family photographer has the BEST job because I get to watch your family grow!
This session was originally supposed to be a family session to document their family of three. When we had to reschedule it became a family session and a maternity session! Miss L brought her spunk and enthusiasm to the session and I had so much fun with her. I photographer her back in April with her cousin and grandmother and she remembered me and my camera monkey! I have a monkey that fits on my lens. I pull it out for sessions with small children (unless someone doesn’t like monkeys…it’s happened!). So, even if they don’t remember me, they usually remember my monkey. Miss L was a Watch Me Grow baby and I had three fun sessions with her back in 2014/2015 (you can see her newborn session here). And now she is going to be a BIG sister!
As an Aberdeen family photographer I often get asked, “Why do a family maternity session when we will have newborn pictures done in just a few months?” My answer every single time is “To document your family now.” Your sweet family of three or four or more RIGHT now. Because your family is changing and growing and how special these images will be to your older child or children. You will be able to say to them, “This is when it was just the three of us.” What a wonderful gift to give your older child.
