It was a true honor to photography Baby E. His mom is one half of Pinehurst Photography. I had never met her, but was truly honored to photograph her new addition. She requested cream and light blue. After two girls, I think she was ready for some blue! She also brought this beautiful rainbow wrap (turns out I have the same one!). Baby E is a Rainbow Baby. A baby born after a loss.
I loved talking “shop” with his mom while I photographed him. Pinehurst Photography specializes in weddings and I always love hearing about wedding photography since I don’t do weddings. We also talked about boys and being a mom to boys. This is something I know a lot about!
I tried hard to get one of Baby E’s big smiles because he has a deep dimple. In Pinehurst Newborn Photography there is no guarantee you are going to get one! He did manage a half smile in his rainbow wrap. I’ll take it! I did get him in the Huck Finn pose (last one). That was the one pose his mom requested. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite poses. It’s a simple image with the focus on their face but you can see their toes, too. And can we talk about his hair? It’s amazing!
