When Life is Hard, Find a Woman to Make it Easier!

Entrepreneur life is hard. When I started my business in 2013, I had no idea what I was doing. Taking pictures was my jam. I didn’t realize I was starting a business and would have to do all the things! I mean, my degree is in elementary education!

A business plan?

A marketing plan?

Pricing so I could actually make money?

And over the years I have built an amazing business with the help of some female mentors – one of which doesn’t even know I exist! And with today being the last day of Women’s History Month, I thought I would pay tribute to them!

The Women Who Have Helped My Business

Me, Sue Bryce and Pamela Wandrey at WPPI in 2016

Sue Bryce – I first heard Sue speak at WPPI in Las Vegas in 2016. She blew me away! Not only is she a phenomenal portrait photographer, but she is a powerhouse when it comes to running a photography business! Her speech literally made me turn my pricing around and helped me become a profitable photographer.

Sabrina at my mentoring session with her in 2019.

Sabrina Gebhardt – Do you follow me on Instagram? You might have heard Sabrina’s name before – she’s my real life mentor (like she knows I exist) and she’s the kick in the pants and the wealth of knowledge I needed in my life as I transitioned from posed newborns to lifestyle sessions. She also helped me navigate Covid as a small business and my business expansion to DC! And as luck would have it, she has a FREE Check-in Challenge next week. If you’re a photographer join!

I could list all the amazing photographer friends I’ve gained throughout the years, too, but I’ll spare you! You know who you are and I am so thankful to be surrounded by strong women who inspire me and lift me up!

Happy last day of Women’s History Month!

Hi, I’m Natasha Sewell, owner of NPS Photography—DC photographer, mom of three, and expert at keeping newborn sessions calm and chaos-free.

I’ve worked with hundreds of families across DC and know exactly how to make this feel easy for you. Whether your toddler’s melting down or your baby skipped their nap, I’ve got you.

You don’t need a “picture perfect” house or matching outfits. You just need someone who knows how to guide you through it all. That’s where I come in.
