As a mom of three, former elementary school teacher, Bethesda family & newborn photographer with 10+ years of experience, I know how to get your littles - whatever their ages - to cooperate and have FUN!

SESSION FEE
I’ll guide you through the booking process, which includes a pre-session phone consultation, remittance of your session fee, and a few quick signatures.
Your session fee includes:
-pre-session phone consultation
-session prep guide and wardrobe assistance
-my time and talent at the session and editing the gallery
(sessions typically last 1-1.5 hours)
Session fee is $350 + sales tax.
COLLECTIONS
All NPS Photography collections include some or all of your high-resolution digital images as well as a product credit for use on anything from custom-designed albums to framed wall art and prints.
Approximately two weeks after your session date, you’ll receive a slideshow of fully-edited, beautiful images, from there you'll choose your collection and select the heirloom photo products for you and your home.
Need help choosing which products are best for you? I’m here to help!
Collections range from $550 to $1,050 + sales tax & shipping.
Travel fees for areas more than 10 miles out of the 20007 zip code start at $50.
The purchase of a collection is required with your session.

NPS Photography’s style is best described as real life and most importantly YOU.
Every family is unique, and my job is to capture you and your personalities.
So, you can look back on the pictures and feel the way you did during this stage of your life.

What if my house isn't professionally decorated?
Most of the houses I photograph in aren’t professionally decorated and it doesn’t make a bit of difference. I promise.
The focus is YOU, not your home.
I've even photographed families in homes with moving boxes everywhere!

What if it's raining or my child is sick?
Basically, I should be a meteorologist! All joking aside, I watch the weather closely and will be in-touch if I think we need to reschedule.
Sessions are rescheduled if there is inclement weather - rain or heavy, dense clouds.
Sick child? By all means let's reschedule!

Do you only do sessions in people's homes?
I do! And there are so many reasons why an in-home session is BEST!
It's where you and your family are most comfortable. You have everything you need for a perfect session - snacks, extra clothes, etc.
And you don't have to go anywhere!
I can take pictures on a porch or yard if the light cooperates.

Is it possible to only get the digital images?
Collections are a wonderful combination of digitals with a product credit.
I know you want digital images to share on social media and with family and friends, but the magic is having tangible products from your session to enjoy for years to come.
You don't have to use your product credit, but it's baked into my collections and a discount is not available.

What if my kids misbehave?
I'll be honest, they might. They are kids and kids have meltdowns and don't listen and sometimes misbehave, but it's NO BIG DEAL!
I'm a mom of three and a former elementary school teacher, so leave handling the kids up to me! I have lots of tricks and games to keep things fun and your job? To laugh and smile and love on your kids throughout the session. Just let your kids be kids!
A word of advice – skip the bribes. I know it seems like a good idea, but it usually fails.

Any tips for preparing for our session?
- get up EARLY and take your time getting ready (yes, mom, I'm talking to you!)
- turn electronics off at least 30 minutes before the session (this goes for you, too, mom and dad!)
- turn on some of your favorite music
- turn off all the lights and open the blinds
